Ένας ευγενής ιππότης από τον Μεσαίωνα (το 1123) κι ο ακόλουθος του μεταφέρονται από λάθος στο σήμερα από έναν μάγο. Για να καταφέρει να βρει μια διέξοδο, συμμαχεί με μια μακρινή του απόγονο. Ταυτόχρονα, προσπαθεί να τα βγάλει πέρα με τη σύγχρονη τεχνολογία, αλλά και κουλτούρα, που φυσικά είναι αιώνες μακριά από όσα γνωρίζει.
