In the early 20th century, Luka, a poor, crippled young boy from the wrong side of the tracks, stumbles upon a theatre at the end of a carnival, where he befriends a bunch of kids who work and live at the theatre, and he feels more at home there than he has anywhere else. However, at the same time, an evil, ruthless upper-class woman on the brink of bankruptcy plots to sell the theatre to gain some extra money, and if that happens, everyone at the theatre will be thrown out into the streets. Luka works together with his new friends to try to save it.

Η Ελίζα Σταματίου ζει με τη μητέρα της, Μαργαρίτα και τον μικρότερο αδερφό της Γιώργο, κάπου στο Μπραχάμι. Η οικονομική τους κατάσταση είναι πολύ καλή και στο σπίτι έχουν όλοι μια σχετική ελευθερία κινήσεων. Η Ελίζα εργάζεται σε μεγάλη ασφαλιστική εταιρία, όμως ο "κρυφός" της πόθος είναι να ασχοληθεί με τον κινηματογράφο ανεξαρτήτως ειδικότητας. Στην πλήξη της καθημερινότητας και σε μια μάλλον αδιάφορη ζωή, η Ελίζα αντιπαρατάσσει την φαντασία της, που έχει τροφοδοτηθεί από ατελείωτες ώρες μέσα σε κινηματογραφικές αίθουσες ή μπροστά στο βίντεο. Οι κατά κανόνα αποτυχημένες προσπάθειές της να μεταφέρει στην καθημερινή της ζωή στοιχεία και καταστάσεις από κινηματογραφικές ταινίες και τις αντίστοιχες ηρωίδες τους, προκαλεί γέλιο αλλά και συγκίνηση.

A story about unlocking the years of hurt and resentment that has caused the strained relationship between Xiao Dingquan and his father, the King. Despite his position as the crown prince, Xiao Dingquan (Luo Jin) was unloved and unfavored by his own father (Huang Zhizhong). Through countless incidents, he has grown into a man of wisdom and courage. After Qi Wang (Jin Han) was sent into exile, Xiao Dingquan intended to leave peacefully with Lu Wenxi (Li Yitong) but discovers that she is being threatened by unknown forces. Xiao Dingquan no longer wishes to be caught in the endless infighting and rife and hopes to settle the dispute through Zhao Wang's marriage. Xiao Dingquan and Lu Wenxi join hands with Xu Changping (Wang Yu) to change the tides in their favor in order to find the mastermind. As the news of Gu Silin's death spreads and Xiao Dingquan sets out to Changzhou to control the situation, the king finally shows remorse as he apologizes to Xiao Dingquan.

An animated spin-off from the Densha Otoko (Trainman) TV drama. In the drama, actor Itoh Atsushi plays the otaku Yamada, whose main love in life is the Mina anime, a cutesy busty heroine with floppy rabbit ears and carrots sticking out her rear. Mina itself is a character homage which triggers back to the Daicon Animation done by GAINAX where a similar nameless bunny girl appeared. Densha Otoko futher featured an opening with scenes which were appearing back in the Daicon Animation.

Princess Go was the youngest of the most famous three sisters in Japanese history, who each led a remarkable life in an age of turmoil and civil war. Go loses her parents in the war, marries three times, and feuds with her own sister in competing for power. Go's husband becomes the second Tokugawa Shogun and she ensures her prominence as she gives birth to a son who later becomes the third Shogun and a daughter, a wife of the Emperor. The drama describes the age of the civil war through the eyes of Princess Go, who plays a significant part in establishing the age of peace that lasts over 200 years in Japan.
